Ohio’s problems are due to a lack of vision and leadership according to U.S. Representative Ted Strickland.

The democratic candidate for governor of Ohio shared what his own vision and leadership plan for the future of Ohio during an address at MountUnionCollege last night. During his speech, Strickland outlined five principles that he said would guide his vision.

His five guiding principles included holding himself and his administration to a higher standard of public service, focusing on the core issues important to the well being of every family, emphasizing the strengths of Ohio, being an active and accessible governor and demanding results.

Strickland’s address was the first in the college’s new lecture series “The Call to Public Service: The Future of Our Nation and State.”
