Major: Business Administration and Economics

Why did you choose to pursue your degree? I chose to pursue international business and economics because those are two subjects that I have always enjoyed. I have always wanted to work somewhere overseas and this major will help me accomplish that dream.

What types of jobs are available for students who share your major? There are many jobs available for both business and economics. With a concentration on the way businesses and economies of the world work, it sets me up to work for many companies with an international base.

How will you use your degree upon graduation? I will use my degree to possibly apply for graduate school or try and find a good starting job either in the U.S. or somewhere in Europe.

What activities are you involved in? I am a member of the men's varsity soccer team and a brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Elements a person should possess to succeed in your major? To succeed in this major you need to be willing to not only learn the way the United States runs and operates businesses and its economy but also the way the world runs and operates business and economics. Having a desire to study abroad helps and it is a requirement for this major.

What advice can you offer for someone who is considering having the same major as you? There are a lot of courses involved, but in the end it will be worth it and you will have plenty of opportunities.
