Why did you choose to pursue English at Mount Union? I love to read and English has always been something that I enjoy.

What types of jobs are available for students who share your major? Teaching, Editing, anything that has to deal with language

How will you use your degree upon graduation? I will be going on to graduate school to get my masters and then look to become a professor.

What activities are you involved in? Alpha Delta Pi social sorority, Blue Key honor society, Sigma Tau Delta national English honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta national freshman honorary, Calliope literature and art magazine, Work Studies and off campus employment

Elements a person should possess to succeed in your major? They should love to read, be continuously reading whether it is for an assignment or for pleasure. They should be able to write well, as reading and writing go hand in hand.

What advice can you offer for someone who is considering having the same major as you? Read, Read, Read, and get a good pair of glasses
