Major: Middle Childhood Education
Why did you choose to pursue middle childhood education at Mount Union? Education is something that I value. How awesome is it going to be to share what I know to children?! I am so excited to interact with children, and hopefully change the way they see things.
What types of jobs are available for students who share your major? Obviously teaching, but also administration is a possibility for education majors.
How will you use your degree upon graduation? I will try and find a job teaching!
What activities are you involved in? I am involved in Campus Crusades for Christ, Freedom Bible Study, and Women's Study.
Elements a person should possess to succeed in your major? Determination, a hard working ethic, a positive attitude, and most importantly, a love for children are important elements to have.
What advice can you offer for someone who is considering having the same major as you?Keep at it! It gets frustrating sometimes, but in the end you just have to remember why you are doing what you are doing. It will all be worth it in the end!
