Why did you choose to pursue health at Mount Union? I chose to follow a career in health because my mother is a nurse and it was something i grew up around. It's just something that i have grown up around and what i know most.
What types of jobs are available for students who share your major? There are several jobs available in the health field because it is growing. There are positions available in the state and county levels, teaching, anything else that you may find on the internet.
How will you use your degree upon graduation? I am still undecided on where I would like to go with my degree, but i would like to either work at the county level or even with children in a YMCA setting.
What activities are you involved in? I am involved with intramurals and the newly formed sport organization, which is for the health and physical education major/ minors. I am also involved in the SAC and after hours activities.
Elements a person should possess to succeed in your major? Things that you have to have to be successful in the health field, I may not know at this time, but from my experience, being a people person, willing to work hard and having knowledge about what you are doing will get you into any job available.
What advice can you offer for someone who is considering having the same major as you? For anyone who wants to be in the health field, make sure you know what you are talking about and work hard and you will go far.
