Why did you choose to pursue Theatre at Mount Union? Theatre is something that I’ve always loved. I was afraid to pursue it at first because people told me I'd be broke and homeless, but there are so many different things that having a theater major has given me including the ability to talk in front of large groups of people, which is something I feel is necessary in today’s workforce.
What types of jobs are available for students who share your major? Honestly, I don't see any doors closing to me. I feel that my theatre major has given me more confidence in myself, which I hope will show in front of future employers.
How will you use your degree upon graduation? I plan on going into pharmaceutical sales.
What activities are you involved in? Alpha Xi Delta, Alpha Psi Omega, MUC Players, Mount Union Chorale, Fire Engine Choir
Elements a person should possess to succeed in your major? Be comfortable in your own skin, don't be afraid to take risks, and definitely do not be afraid to make a fool of yourself.
What advice can you offer for someone who is considering having the same major as you? Take full advantage of the wonderful staff that makes up the theatre program at Mount Union. They can be your professors, your mentors, and your best friends.
