Raider Men's Golf Team Places Sixth at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational

Mount Union's men's golf team completed the final round of Ohio Wesleyan Invitational in sixth place overall (621 strokes) out of the 17 teams competing at the Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio, on Sunday, April 22.

Mount Union was led by Kurtis Baldner who posted a score of 153 for the two day tournament placing him tied for 16th place among the rest of the tournament field. Other Purple Raider scorers included: Justin Rush (T29th/155), Jason Nussbaum (T29th/155), Mike Kobelak (T45th/159), and Tony Serra (T67th/162).

Final tournament standings went as follows: Ohio Wesleyan (595 strokes), Otterbein (599), Wittenberg (614), Tri-State (615), Olivet (618), Mount Union (621), Allegheny (622), Transylvania (625), Wooster (629), Baldwin-Wallace (630), John Carroll (630), Franklin (633), Denison (634), Wabash (641), Hiram (681), Kenyon (683), and Oberlin (730).

The Purple Raiders return to action April 27 at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Capital in Bexley, Ohio.
