Velliquette Named OAC Runner of the Week
For the third time in his career, Mount Union College senior cross country standout Jeremy Velliquette (Fremont/St. Joseph) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference's Runner of the Week for his performance this past Saturday, October 14.
Velliquette finished second overall out of 220 runners competing at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. He covered the course in a time of 26:01. The Purple Raiders placed second out of 19 teams competing.
The Raiders are off this week, but return to action on Saturday, October 28, when they travel to Tiffin to take part in the 2006 OAC Championships, hosted by Heidelberg College.
