Mount Union College students use the Brumbaugh center for a number of classes and activities and numerous senior research projects. Topics include the biology of invasive species, factors that influence the establishment of wildflower meadows, antibiotic resistance in naturally occurring population of bacteria, and nitrogen cycling. In addition, the Brumbaugh Center supports a Geographic Information Systems Lab and a program in Restoration Ecology.
