For Educators

Our school programs include both programs for classes that visit the nature center and professional development programs for pre-service and in-service teachers. Thousands of students from the area visit our site each year to participate in learning experiences that are tied to the Ohio Academic standards. We also work with other organizations to provide learning opportunities. Among these are the Environmental Education Council of Ohio, the Stark County Math and Science Partnership and the GLOBE program (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment). We offer a wide selection of school programs that are tied in with Ohio's Academic Content Standards.

For more information or to register for one of our programs contact Patty Rickard, Naturalist, at 330-823-7487 or rickarpa@muc.edu
