Watson Named To 2005 Associated Press Little All-America Team

Senior/cornerback Ross Watson (Austintown/Fitch) was a First Team selection on the 2005 Associated Press Little All-America Team as announced by the Associated Press offices on Saturday, December 17.

Watson has 30 hits and a team-high nine interceptions on the year, only one pick shy of tying the Raider single-season mark of 10 held by Bruce Ensminger (1951) and Perry Bourn (1968).
The Purple Raiders (13-1) will compete in their ninth Division III Football Championship on Saturday, December 17, against Wisconsin-Whitewater (14-0) at the 33rd Alonzo Stagg Bowl in Salem, Virginia.
