…..What you can do for us!

Alumni are an important part of any college or university. If you would like to make a difference in the careers of future graduates (as well as expand and strengthen our own personal network) consider working with the Career Development Office on a variety of programs and projects including:

  • Becoming a Career Resource by either speaking at campus events or by accepting referrals for students needing to participate in career exploration interviews.
  • Becoming a Networking Referral for future graduates. Provide resume, job search and networking assistance to new graduates in your field.
  • Participating in Surveys and Advisory groups. We can better help students if we know where our graduates go and how they got there, as well as what worked and what didn’t.
  • Joining the Mentor’s Academy. Graduates who have been on the “outside” for at least 5 years are eligible to apply for this honorary program. In addition to assisting students in the above ways, Academy members may also provide job shadowing opportunities, arrange for site visits at their place of employment, conduct mock interviews on campus, etc. Special appreciation events are held to honor their group.
