Next M Club Meeting - TBAM Club Golf Outing:M Club has sponsored an annual golf outing and steak fry at Tannenhauf Golf Club Inc. at 11411 McCallum Avenue NE in Alliance to raise funds for the Club. 119 Golfers participated in this past year's event! Newsletter:Click here for the most recent copy of the M Club Newsletter Membership:Anyone lettering in a varsity sport at Mount Union College is eligible to be a member of M Club upon graduation. Members will receive a membership card granting free admission to all regular season on-campus athletic events. The major activities of the Club include the Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony and luncheon, pre-game cook-out and membership drive before the M Club sponsored football game, the annual summer golf outing, and other fundraising events. Please support the organization that supports our athletes by being a dues paying member of the M Club. Dues:If you haven't paid your dues for 2007-2008, please take a moment to send your $25 to the Mount Union College Office of Alumni Activities, 1972 Clark Ave, Alliance, Ohio 44601. M Club Committees:Three committees exist within the M Club organizational structure:
Hall of Fame:Each year, Mount Union College honors a select group of former student-athletes, coaches and athletic supporters with induction into the M Club Hall of Fame during a ceremony luncheon. Campus recognition of the inductees takes place during half-time of the football game. There are three categories of membership: M Club Hall of Fame, M Club Award of Excellence and Honorary M Club member. The Hall of Fame Selection Committee reviews the criteria used for Hall of Fame selection and decided that the following guidelines would continue to be used as the basis for selection: “The record and character of the individual must be so outstanding that there is no question as to his or her qualifications.” |
