Head Coach Jeff Wojtowicz just completed his 13th year at the helm of the Purple Raider men's tennis program and his fourth season as the head women's tennis coach in 2006-07. Overall, Wojtowicz has produced a 154-99 (.609) mark as Mount Union's men's head coach and an 54-28 (.659) record with the women's program. Overall, Wojtowicz has a combined 208-127 (.621) record in charge of both programs.
In 2006-07 under Wojtowicz, the Raider men's program finished conference play as the regular season Co-Ohio Athletic Conference Champions. It was the second conference title for the Raiders - the first coming during the 1999-00 campaign. In addition, the teams' 18 wins this past season tied a Raider single-season record set in 2001-02. The Lady Raider tennis team has posted four consecutive winning seasons under Wojtowicz's leadership, including a school-record 17 wins in 2004-05.
A 1984 graduate of Mount Union, Wojtowicz also recently completed his 20th year as the Raider football defensive secondary coach and recruiting coordinator. He has been a member of a coaching staff that has produced a record nine Division III Football National Championships ('93, '96, '97, '98, '00, '01, '02, '05, '06). His academic duties include being an instructor in the College's Health and Physical Education Department.
Gregory S. Parrish, a 1971 graduate of Kent State University, completed his first season as an assistant men and women’s tennis coach at Mount Union in 2006-07. Parrish came to Mount Union from Louisville High School, where he served as the head men and women’s tennis coach from 1976-2005. He also served as the school’s athletic director from 1988-2002.During his high school coaching career, Parrish won 10 Federal League and eight Northeastern Buckeye Conference Championship, was named NBC Coach of the Year seven times, named Stark County Coach of the Year five times, and totaled a record of 808-258 – good for third all-time in career wins among Ohio tennis coaches. In addition, he serves as a certified United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) tennis pro at the Alliance Country Club.
