Mount Union's Larry Kehres Named Liberty Mutual National Coach of the Year

Mount Union College head football coach Larry Kehres has been named the Liberty Mutual Division III National Coach of the Year. Coach Kehres be recognized in an exhibit at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, IN and Liberty Mutual will award $50,000 to support the a civic and charitable organization of Coach Kehres' choice, as well as $20,000 in scholarship funding to Mount Union.

(SALEM, VA)—Greg Micheli threw two touchdown passes to Cecil Shorts as and was named most valuable player of the Stagg Bowl as Mount Union College regained its spot atop NCAA Division III football Saturday, beating defending champion Wisconsin-Whitewater 31-26 in the Stagg Bowl.

Kmic Named to AP Little All-America Football Team

Mount Union College running back Nate Kmic (Delta/Delta) has been named to the Associated Press Little All-America Team. It is a team that includes players from NCAA Division II, III and NAIA institutions. The honor makes Kmic a consensus All-American after also being selected to the AFCA and D3Football.com All-American teams.
