Raiders Place Three On All-OAC Acacemic At-Large Team

Mount Union College placed three student athletes on the 2005 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Men's and Women's At-Large squads, announced the conference office on May 11.
Sophomore swimmer Alex Darr (Port Clinton), junior swimmer Sarah Buford (Clayton, CA/Caron), and senior wrestler Rocky Laughlin (Malvern/Canton South) each earned At-Large Honorable-Mention Academic All-OAC status.
Darr is a political science major carrying a 3.86 grade point average, Buford is a middle childhood education major carrying a 3.36 grade point average, while Laughlin carried a 3.40 grad point average as an early chilhood education major.
In order to earn Academic All-OAC status, a student athlete must have a minimun 3.25 cumulative GPA, be a starter or key reserve and be at least in his second year of participation in that intercollegiate sport.
