Raider Women's Golfers Finish Sixth at Baldwin-Wallace Invitational
Mount Union's women's golf team completed the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational in sixth place overall (380 strokes) out of the ten teams competing at Mallard Creek Golf Club, in Columbia Station, Ohio, on Sunday, September 16.
Mount Union was led by Ashley Phipps, who posted a score of 85, which earned her eighth place honors among the rest of the tournament field. Other Purple Raider scorers included: Meghan McInnes (T21st/92), Jenna Rinzella (T26th/100), Toni DeSanto (42nd/103), and Kaley Smitley (43rd/104).
Final tournament standings went as follows: Otterbein (321 strokes), Ohio Northern (337), John Carroll (355), Baldwin-Wallace (363), Wittenberg ( 366), Mount Union (380), Washington & Jefferson (396), Denison (398), Muskingum (401), and Capital (414).
The Purple Raiders return to action September 22-23, at the Mercyhurst Invitational.
