Raider Men's Golf Team Currently Tied for Seventh at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational
Mount Union's men's golf team is currently tied for seventh place overall (311 strokes) out of the 17 teams competing at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational, at the Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio, on Saturday, April 21.
Mount Union was led by Justin Rush and Jason Nussbaum who each posted scores of 76 placing them tied for 19th among the rest of the tournament field. Other Purple Raider scorers were: Mike Kobelak (T43rd/79), Tony Serra (T53rd/80), and Kurtis Baldner (T60th/81).
First round tournament standings went as follows: Ohio Wesleyan (301 strokes), Wittenberg (301), Tri-State (304), Otterbein (304), John Carroll (310), Mount Union (311), Transylvania (313), Wooster (314), Allegheny (314), Frankilin (314), Baldwin-Wallace (317), Denison (322), Wabash (324), Kenyon (334), Hiram (343), and Oberlin (374).
The Purple Raiders will return to action on Sunday, April 22 in round two of the tournament, at the Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.
