Lady Raiders Finish Third at Salisbury Invitational
Mount Union's women's cross country team (74 points) placed second out of 14 teams competing at the Salisbury Invitational in Salisbury, MD on Saturday, September 30.
Junior Anna McClaugherty (Alliance) placed sixth for the Raiders with a time of 22:21.
Other top finishers for Mount Union included senior Kelly Kranek (Strongsville) who placed 12th at 23:07, freshman Aly Myers (Wooster/Triway) who finished 13th at 23:07, freshman Heather Stalter (Marietta) who placed 15th at 23:24, and sophomore Jillian Eckart (Lyndhurst/Gilmour Academy) who finished 28th at 24:00.
Towson (41 points) took home the team title with host Salisbury (63 points) not far behind.
The Purple Raiders will next compete in the All-Ohio Championships on Friday, October 6.
