Lady Raiders Fall To Baldwin Wallace In Conference Opener

Mount Union's women's soccer team (3-7, 0-1 OAC) fell 1-0 to host Baldwin-Wallace (7-3, 1-0 OAC) on Saturday, September 30 in Berea, Ohio.
The only goal of the game came in the 74th minute when Whitney Zunic scored off an Ashley Berlardo assist.
The Yellow Jackets played solid team defense the rest of the way to preserve a 1-0 victory.
Raider goalie Seana Kelly turned in a solid performance with nine saves for the Purple and White. Her counterpart Michelle Neff needed only two saves in recording the shutout.
The Jackets outshot the Raiders 13-7 and held a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.
The Lady Raiders next travel to Capital on Tuesday, October 3. First kick from Bexley, Ohio is scheduled for 4 p.m.
