M Club

Anyone lettering in a varsity sport at Mount Union College is eligible to be a member of M Club upon graduation.

  • Coffee and Coaches.  Join Raider coaches beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the East Room in the HPCC to hear about the upcoming seasons. All are welcome to attend!
  • Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Saturday, September 20. 
  • Reverse Raffle Fundraiser Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Skyland Pines in Canton.

 

Cooking 101 Classes

Endowed Lecture Series - All are welcome to attend

  • Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall featuring Nancy Hill '79, president and CEO of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.  The Gordon Heffern Business Ethics Lecture.
  • Thursday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre featuring Dr. Anthony Campolo, author, sociologist, pastor, and social activist.  The Joseph M. Carr Lecture.
  • Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre featuring the Boys of the Lough, Internationally known Celtic Band.  Sponsored by the Myrtie Allen Kershaw Lectureship on Poetry and the Fine Arts, the Department of Music and Convocations.
  • Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall featuring Dr. Seth Rockman and Dr. Kurt Raaflaub, "Freedom and Slavery, Ancient and Modern".  The Thelma Tournay Slater Classics Lecture.

 

Mentoring Program

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs is starting a host family program to help nurture the growth of Mount Union's students of color, especially incoming freshmen, and to provide them with a sense of community as they grow as an adult at Mount Union. 

  • Host family is encouraged to offer guidance, provide a safe environment for the student to engage in, attend their athletic activities if relevant, help ease symptoms of homesickness, invite them over for a meal, invite them to community activities, etc.

Networking

  • The Office of Career Development provides almost all of the same services to graduates as it does current students.  It’s not too late to contact them for resources whether you need advice with your resume or are changing careers! Contact them for more information at 1-800-992-6682, x2889.
  • Network with alums on the LinkedIn website (professional networking site) plus request to join the Mount Union Alumni Group!  Contact Tiffany at hogyata@muc.edu to request access to the group.
