Accreditations and Affiliations
Mount Union College is accredited by the following organizations: the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, 30 N. LaSalle St., Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60602-2504, as a Degree-Granting Institution; Department of Education of the State of Ohio; University Senate of the United Methodist Church; Ohio College Association; Ohio Board of Regents (Certificate of Authorization); Ohio Athletic Association; Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio; National Association of Schools of Music; and National Association of Sport and Physical Education-North American Society for Sport Management (NASPE-NASSM). The athletic training program is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), and Mount Union's teacher education program is approved by the Ohio Department of Education and accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
