Writing-Across-the-Curriculum Program
The Mount Union College Writing-Across-the-Curriculum (WAC) Program was begun in 1993 as an attempt by faculty and administration to recognize the importance of writing in a Liberal Arts curriculum and to ensure that all Mount Union students have the opportunity to practice writing and develop writing skills both across the curriculum and within their chosen fields of study.
The goal of the Mount Union College WAC Program is to administer and maintain the writing efforts of the college faculty and to provide a programmatic"center" for faculty who wish to teach writing in their courses, as well as offer support for the development of "writing-intensive" assignments and curricula.
