Faculty-Led Trips

Every year, during spring break or over the summer, Mount Union faculty members lead educational trips to a variety of locations overseas. Students may be able to earn credit for going on such trips. Each year, for example, students proficient in Spanish, led by Dr. Kramer, went on a week-long service trip to El Salvador. Students practiced Spanish while working in small communities. In doing so, they earned credit through a course entitled Social Responsibility. Month-long summer trips that have taken place in past years have included a trip to Pau, France, led by Dr. Jennifer Hall, a trip to Turin, Italy, led by Dr. Jamie Capuzza, and trips to Salzburg, Austria and Kursk, Russia, led by Dr. Mark Himmelein.
