Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration
Speaker: Minnijean Brown Trickey was one of the Little Rock Nine, the group of African-American students who over came violent mobs, Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus, and the National Guard to integrate Little Rock Central High School in 1957. A leader in the early Civil Rights Movement, she has continued as an activist for social justice and equality. The speaker is the subject of an award-winning documentary, Journey to Little Rock: The Untold Story of Minnijean Brown Trickey.

Speaker: Os Guinness, D. Phil., theologian who lived for 10 years in the Buddhist culture, later sat at the feet of a Hindu guru, after studying at Oxford University and has authored many books including: Prophetic Untimeliness: A Challenge to the Idol of Relevance and Long Journey Home: A Guide to Your Search for the Meaning of Life. Speaker: Beverly Russell, executive director of the National Council Urban Indian Health, a San Carlos Apache, was born on a reservation in Arizona, but has dedicated herself to the 50% population living off-reservation.
