Once the student's major is confirmed, the office helps develop work assignments or the professional application of the student's academic preparation categorized as INTERNSHIPS and EXTERNSHIPS for students in their chosen field of study.

This experience may confirm the student's choice of career field or encourage a review of their career choice.
Provides transferable skills for resume content.
Many experiential learning opportunities lead to permanent employment.
